The MOSLEY STOREY PROJECT
As the world continues to feel the effects of the Coronavirus, the result of man’s abusive behavior of the natural laws designed to maintain a healthy world; including the air we breathe, the earth we tread, and the water we drink.
This duet was born in March of 2020. The obvious effects of the Coronavirus have not only affected the way we as musicians see ourselves, it has also opened our hearts and expand our consciousness of our responsibility to our audience engaging them to reevaluate our relationship to our environment, to reconsider our human interaction and imbue it with justice, equity and respect.
The MOSLEY STOREY PROJECT provides a way into the psychological damage that mankind suffers today. To see the MOSLEY STOREY PROJECT live one is immediately taken into a world that offers healing instead of entertainment.
Eliel Sherman Storey a musician dedicated to the concept of those that create African American art must take the responsibility to produce, define and preserve it. His passionate belief has inspired him to become a recording engineer under the jurisdiction of his company Transition East LLC., a recording studio and performance space located in Chicago Il. He has positioned himself to be independent in all his artistic endeavors. He’s also part owner of a cutting-edge Internet business, www.chi-creates.tv Chicago Creative Arts Online Inc. devoted to bringing creative artistic programs to the marketplace. All the while his musical appetites are fueled by the groups he’s formed and produced, The E.S.P. Project and The Renegade Collaboration, are extraordinary spontaneous improvisational groups that explore the African American experience in a collective improvisation style, while his third group is a collection of hand drummers, poets, singers, dancers with Eliel’s very personal saxophone approach weaving in and out of the theme-based compositions.
